Superior Plus Sod is an improved variety of turf-type tall fescue that exhibits rhizomes. A rhizome is a specialized, root-like stem that forms shoots above and roots below the soil. These rhizomes help the sod repair itself by forming new growth when damaged, thinning and bare spots occur. Our rhizomatous Superior Plus Sod not only repairs itself, but roots in quickly and deeply, which helps save water over time. Its outstanding year-round green color, texture, density, drought tolerance and easy maintenance make Superios Plus Sod an excellent choice for any residential or commercial landscape application.
